| Well what can i say so proud of our guys tonight . Never gave in and the fitness was superb. Warrington really impressed me aswell tonight, and i can see both being really strong and up there this year. After watching Morleys hit again closer to the action, for me fantastic and fair!
Fielden starting to offload and enjoying his rugby again is good to see he was ecstatic and the end to the fans. Amos is like a totally different player and his confidence now should be through the roof.
Keep it up lads!!! Well done Wire for their part in a superb game too. Just hope that someone has a word with Myler and Mathers over their V signs in front of kids not needed.

| For me, what made the biggest difference in the last 25 was not the fact that Briers went off but the fact that Tommy went to 7 and deacon to 9. Up to that point we had been poor around the ruck.
Are strong defense kept us in the game particularly in the first 40, had this been last year we'd have been behind by at least 20 at the break. It's pretty obvious to anyone who watched that game that are mistakes and poor discipline killed us in the first 40, we addressed it a little in the second and that coupled with the points from above won us the game.
Sam Tomkins is that X-Factor player that all good sides need, and we've got him.
Congrats to all 34 player tonight.

Actually the funniest thing was the thousands of Wire fans still dancing thinking they had won it, despite it clearly showing the knock on 2-3 times on the screen! Realisation setting in was absolutely hilarious from where we were stood!

| A couple of things swung it in our favour for me.
- Briers going off helped as they looked disorganised after that. Myler is a great support player, always sniffing around for an offload but he is no organiser.
- Warrington seemed to tire in the last quarter. We have really majored in getting our fitness levels up over the off season and it is paying dividends. We have looked really strong in the last 20 in all of our games so far.
Having said this warrington struggled to break our defensive line all night and it was penalties and dropped ball that got them in the position to go in as half time leaders.
Was a great game to watch and credit to both teams for that. A great advert for rugby league.

| Well done wigan. Please let us keep ainscough and farrell, as i think your team is doing well without them. At least you not got uncle albert on here moaning. He thinks his team was robbed. Both teams did well tonight, and you and wire will be in the top 6 for sure. I prefer wigan than warrington so i am happy.

| Great game, found myself cheering when Tomkins went over and when solomona dropped it. Probably because I felt you were pretty hard done too by the ref for most of the game which is funny cause I had a quick look on the wire page with the top thread named ROBBED. Funny how you see things different when its your team.

| Funnily enough as made up as I am about the win tonight I think the real test of how far we have come with Maguire in such a short space of time will be this week and the Catalans game.
For so long now we have been able to dig deep and pull a performance when we need to but then have failed to back up the week after against poorer opposition/teams in poorer form and have lost the game ad blow the hard work.
If we turn up next week and do the job I for one will be quite content that attitudes have changed and things are on the up.

From a wigan point of veiw i thought it was a Massive shot, if a wigan player had done that i would have been proud as punch.
Great hit by Mozza and great toughness by HH to keep hold of the ball and (almost) stand up straight after.
What a game we have.

Very good post. That was a mentally and physically sapping game. If we can win that and also win next week we really will have turned a corner. That said, when was the last time we won our three opening fixtures?

Any Wigan fan reading this take off your Wigan hat, Was Morleys' hit at the end worthy of being cited?

i thought it was a humdinger of a hit and legal. If it had been high there would have been a right free for all. Both players should be applauded, morley for the hit and hansen for keeping hold of the ball.

| Well done. One of the best games I've been to in years. Could have gone either way & neither team could have complained if they'd been on the wrong end of it. Also a great atmoshpere created by you lot. Wonderful night.
I fancy Wigan to go al the way this year, and hope we meet up 2-3 more times this year.

Yep, without Morley there wouldn't have been a game winning penalty given under the Warrington sticks from a high tackle.
The other one with HH, great hit but very close to an attack to the head. Mr Morley needs to keep an eye on this play otherwise he's going to be missing a few games to say the least.

We got battered by bradford in the final that year, and we were second in the table to them on points difference. (not to be pedantic) but yes that was last time we won first 3 matches.
