if we are on the waiting list, and you buy another bunch, where would we be able to get them ?

Isn't Sullivan our most successful coach ever? Should we stick the years he won the league as coach around the photo? or underneath the photo? recognising the achievement?

Not 100% sure I get the question but here goes.

Paul is compiling a waiting list on a 1st come 1st served basis.

"If" (Which is seemingly more unlikely by the day) there are any of the 1st 100 left we will distribute to the people on the waiting list afer the event via 1st come 1st served list.

If we sell out on the night (And it's looking like it well as all those that are coming, 90% so far say they want one) then we will use the money raised from the sale of the 1st 100 to finance 100 more.

This may take a couple of weeks after the event but it should be before Xmas.



As for dropping them off/payment, we will drop them off anywhere local i.e Wigan area.
If they are further away than that we'll have to sort out for them to be posted out (There may be a small charge but I'm sure we can agree something!).

Got quoted £150 for his flag by the way. 18ft tall, 6ft wide.

5 Leagues and 2 Challenge Cups. Monie won us 5 Leagues and 4 Challenge Cups I think.
When you take Lancashire Leagues and Lanky Cups into account I'd guess Sullivan is Nº1.

Also taking into account, 774 apps, 2,317 goals, 4,883 points, a GB tourist 1924,1928, & 1932 (captain), 25 GB caps, player/coach from 1932, and an inductee in the RL Hall of Fame.................I'd guess Sullivan too !!

Overall record is insuperable, but it was coaching records that were up for discussion

Give it two more years, Madge will have 3 League Leaders, 3 Super League titles, 2 WCC, 2 Challenge cups and 3 Carnegie 9's, then he can go on the list

A bit of context. Pat has finished top Super League points scorer 4 seasons in a row. He'll need to continue that streak for another 10 seasons to match Jim Sullivan's achievement of doing that 14 times. He did all that despite not really being a renowned Try Scorer.

Sullivan also finished leagues top goal scorer 16 times between 1921 and 1939.

Jim Sullivan made Wigan the massive club that they are today - end of! Sadly, after the Wigan board refused him a pay rise, he went and made St Helens the massive club that they have been since 1952. So when you sit and think of all those precious derby day memories v Saints we've all got Jim Sullivan to thank totally for them.

What flags are being made etc now then? Ive lost track

Well the big Billy Boston flag has arrived. It's very lightweight designed for flying on a large pole. At first glance I thought what the fook is this? At first I couldn't make the image out but from a distance when other people held it up it becomes recognisable and flown in the stand I think it'll look striking. The other thing is it hasn't come with a sleeve up the side of it to fly it on so I'll have to get someone who knows what they're doing onto that. Not a massive job I would've thought.

The company have emailed me a picture of it. The angle doesn't do it justice really. The picture angle makes it look as though the bottom half of the image is disproportionatly big but held up straight that isn't the case. It's about 14 foot tall, 7 foot wide
