I have heard that Hock has signed up to the BBC and is to do a round the world trip with Charlie Boorman, Michael Palin and Arnold Schwartznegger on tricycles painted red/white and blue.
They are going to film it all and it will be on Warriors TV first.
Remember you heard it here first guys !
But Like everything else, I will beleive it when I see it.

There must be some sort of substance in these rumours, whether or not he moves to Salford/Widnes remains to be seen (bit of a downgrade from Paramatta isn't it?).
I am starting to believe that his time with us is limited. Dependant on the reason, it'll be a massive massive loss to Wigan. I am already damn well annoyed at SW's leadership, recruitment and teams he chooses to put out for pre-season friendlies and rumours of a bust up with Hock puts fuel to the fire.
On his day he is one of the best, if not the best, SR in SL. Losing Hock and replacing him with someone like Gelling is for me completely and utterly inexcusable. I am VERY interested to see what the future holds. |

Having seen SW's interviews about how Wigan need to move forward in creating a "community" of local lads who will not want to f-off a la Ashton/Tomkins I find it highly amusing that a Wigan lad who's been at the club for nearly 20 years is seemingly desperate to get away. If all this bull reporting has any grounds.
The only proven ways to stop bleeding this level of talent is to either:
- Give them medals every season (Leeds)
- Play e rugby so no-one really wants them (Leeds)
However my suggestions going forward are:
- Sign only convicted fellons who would not be welcome in Australia
- Threaten the squad/ their family members (may improve performance)
- Lobotomise players upon signing (may reduce McIllorum penalties)
Notice that "barbecues and stuff fot lads" is not on there.
