Totally agree, totally dependant on keeping those 3 fit - especially Long. I hope they do I'd really like to see a good performing FC challenging for things this year, their fans definitely deserve it.

They had 10,500 for the first game and were expecting 8,000 for today.

If they can get some results they'll have every chance of keep getting these good crowds.

I make no apologies for encouraging my team to give youngsters a go. I'd consider him ahead of Goulding, I like DG and he did an alright job against Warrington but I just love how dangerous Ainscough is ball in hand, as proven by him scoring loads of tries, whether it be for Wigan reserves, Wigan first team or Widnes first tream.

So Goulding deserves to be dropped because he doesn't score the amount of walk-ins that Ainscough does?

Re Ainscough i can't help but think it would be worthless brining him back for three games against some tough opposition when what he really needs now is settled first team rugby for a full season.

yep, Ainscough's not a talented player but an extremely flukey player who always seems to get the ball in easy try scoring positions no matter who his centre is, other wingers just aren't that lucky.
