The backs and O'Loughlin.
All the other forwards stand there with hands on hips.

| Coley has been the corner stone of our pack of late, he looked like man playing on emotion tonight trying too hard, it did not work. Fielden was ok still finding his front which is nice. Feka poor by his standards. Prescott i felt was our best Prop. Hock was poor, Hansen was poor and his time is running out. Locky superb.
McIllorum poor. Riddell average.
The truth is we should hve put the game to bed in the first half. Nothing to do with the forwards just Brett Kenny (clueless) in attack.

| As I said on the Warrington forum, Morley owned our pack on his own tonight. When he came back on he turned the game in their favour. What would we do for a prop like him!?!

Sometimes its not about the yards its about momentum. Of late Fielden has been finding his front and we have been making yards off the back of it.
Think he played tonight s well as he has in the last few gmes.
He is far from value for money but in my opinion he is doing ok of late.

Agree but he generated momentum in my opinion. Coley Feka and Hock let us down tonight in my opinion.

Regarding Hock, I just think that the Warrington outfit knew how to handle him, for a change the opposition got into him early and he never once looked like breaking the line.
Feka was woeful tonight, no yards, no defensive efforts. I witnessed on at least 3 occasions Wire breaking through a gap in our line which Feka should of covered.
Coley I thought tried but it just wasn't good enough, in patches there were glimpses of his recent form but for the rest I can't compliment his game.
TBH I thought Fielden had a good game, agreed he got smashed a few times but he was IMO one of the only few in our team willing to take the ball up and try and make some yardage. His defense was outstanding, especially his kick-chase, him and Lockers were the first two from the majority of our team to lead the defensive line up to Wire.
Prescott did OK but he played with a well beaten pack. He is a good player but was made to look bad a bad player by our dominated forwards.
What puzzled me was Noble chose to replace Fielden with Prescott instead of Feka for Prescott, think it was in the 75th minute. Fielden was showing enthusiasm and giving his all - although it wasn't pretty he did get through some hard work, where as Feka must of been on the field about 5mins and he was blowing out of his ar*e.
Our pack was beaten by a well-drilled, powerful Warrington pack. Simple as, they showed more desire and more courage than our pack - even though Fielden did show some courage throughout the game.
We need a new prop ASAP - Wigan will never win SL with the pack we have, too weak and IMHO too soft.

| Our pack hasn't been any good since 2004 when we had four big props (O'Connor, Smith, Sculthorpe & Pongia) and Newton as hooker, and despite a final appearence, we hardly set the world alight that year.

| Our pack was 2nd best tonight.
Warrington were very quick and solid indefence - which combined with us looking predictable in attack without Smith meant we struggled to make any threats on their line.
I do also think that Thaler was VERY influenced by the home crowd in dishing out penalties which was also a big factor in giving warrington plenty of momentum.

| on their day our pack can beat anybody . last night all of them were poor in going forward but their defense was still solid. the attacking play of the backs is just not there and the defence on the wings is woeful. I honestly believe it wasnt the forwards that the lost the game . we had no attacking flair. everytime that briers or monohan( think thats his name little fast blond one) got the ball they looked dangerous. our men in those positions looked clueless. riddell is a waste of space , amos is and sam and ainscough looked out of their depth.

| The sooner Fielden goes the better, I still find it hard to believe that some attempt to stick up for him, he is awful truely awful. I think Prescott has a future along with O'Carroll, Coley is much better as a wider running 2nd row.

Fielden offers less than Coley in go forward at the moment yet we still single out coley for crtiscism. coley was quiet last night but not as bad as some people make out. Defence wise they are both missed when off the pitch. feka has stopped being an impact player, not once last night did he do one of his steam rolling runs and his defense is dodgy to say the least. Prescot was ok but he can be hit and miss and drops a lot of balls (I dont mean last night). We need fielden to go, and aggressive enforcer prop to take HIS place and to start with Prescot and Feka and Coley on the bench.

| Fielden would do a resonable job with better support.
Coley must be replaced with a frontline prop like O'Meley
Feka is currently a waste of space
We have Prescott/O'Carroll who as they get older will continue to develop
I really think two props for next year is essential.

Fielden would do a decent job/is doing a decent job in defence. Going forward he is not effective, but how much of that is because he is being singled out?
Coley is turning into a decent enough "workhorse"
Prescott - as you say, can only get better.
Feka needs to lose some weight.
We need another prop yes.

i thought amos was ur best player tonight. he defended his wing well and did a few try saving tackle were he rushed out of the line to stop grix or who ever from drawing him in and giving it to king. TBH you could see from the first 10 minutes wire were up for it. i know we didnt touch the ball but we defended brilliantly with some bloody big hits thrown in as well. you could tell through the match as soon as morley and carvell came back on they were gonna tear you apart and thats what happened. but still i thought you played decently tonite and you should be able to take some positives from the match. good game n i can give some of my mates at shevi some stick now ![Razz icon_razz.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_razz.gif)

| Overall we got outmuscled and largely outplayed by Wire's forwards and thought that Morley lead their line well with both Andersons getting through a ton of work.
O'Loughlin was our stand out forward, again much of our defensive pattern revolved around him. I thought Fielden did ok especially in defence and we'll miss his work if/when he gets dropped. Going forward he always hit the ground facing forward and got quick POB's which is always a good sign. Feka is truley woeful, he reminds me of one of those players you see round kids teams where they always bring on a tubby kid for the last 10 minutes just so that everyone gets a game. His Dad doesn't sponsor us does he? He's flat footed and lazy in defence and so easy to target it's untrue. Hock had a very quiet game but the Wire back row played their part in that superbly. Riddel, I just don't get him, slow off the mark, POB tends to be slow - lots of shouts for forward passes when it was actually Riddels slow delivery. Generally doesn't look that interested.
