Awful performance tonight. As has been said tactics have been shocking. Calatans have one of the best packs in the league, why start out as if we are going to try and match them up the middle?
What's really annoying is that we are two props and a new coach short of a good team, but that probably won't happen for another season or two. |

TBH I thought it was more St Helens playing poorly than us raising our game.
Granted we did raise our game a little and get fired up, but once St Helens knew what our tactics were we didn't turn enough of the field position into tries. St Helens got a few chances and took the most of them.
We just didn't have anything different to show St Helens once they knew what we was doing. |

True maybe he shouldn't be out the door but he needs a kick up the and get back to how he used to be. When he came into the Wigan team he was fantastic but since being made captain he's just not delivering like he should be. He's the captain, he needs to motivate the team and lead by example, he needs to kick them up the backside with performances like this. He just doesn't do it. |

Has anyone had a good game? No.
Has O'Loughlin been the worst or even close to it? No.
Every game O'Loughlin puts his all in. You can never fault this man of effort or passion. Yes this isn't enough alone but it is a lot more than some of the players are showing.
Added to that he's been one of our better players this year.
As an aside, this scoreline flatters us. |
