Every team has off games, look at your lot against Hudds at Cardiff. Who would have thought Keith Mason could run Adrian Morley ragged? Must mean Mason is class, and Hudds wouldnt swap any and you all need to respect Mason, Griffin and Crabtree eh?

Ill happily stick to Sean O'Loughlin at 13, who saying he can only do 10 metre drives was the top try assisting forward last year in Super League, or Joel Tomkins who was the top scoring forward with 13 I think it was. In fact I wouldnt swap our younger guys like Liam Farrell or Lee Mossop for Solomona either.

They are two different positions, Lima is a prop and props aren known to be abit more on the heavy side (which if you ask any regular Wigan fan, Lima isnt, and what little weight he does have for a prop, is just muscle) Solomona is more like the feka/barry ward over weight as in just plain fat. And I still stand by the matter that he wouldnt last a minute in the current Wigan side with this regime.

You're right Solomana is rubbish, it's awful that he has the hands of a stand off, and throws probably the best bullet pass i've ever seen and that he draws in 4 men then somehow manages to offload the ball. We need to get on to the PFU Chairman and tell him to have a word with Solo, take a drive make 10 yards fall to the floor and play the ball.

So I have finally managed to rewatch the incident, Sam has his left arm locked by Westwood and is pushing away with his right arm. Westwood lets go of the ball to throw a punch (closed fist) which connects. The next two seem to miss, however Blyth runs in with the forearm and as Westwood regains his feet he then tried to get another one in but manages to hit the back of Hodgson.

Not withstanding the initial run from Westwood ended up with his forearm in Marsh's face.

The arm lock which prevents Sam from getting up can clearly be seen in the replay @ 43:00 on the clock.

Rogues, I'll reply before this thread gets locked because of all the stupidity from both sides of the fence. The Westwood/Tomkins incident was 'nowt nor something,' and has only been highlighted because of the two personalities involved. I think the penalty went the right way because Tomkins was delaying the PTB, but Westwood was lucky it didn't get reversed. As regards the Micky Higham thing, I think he was lucky to escape a citing, but I don't like this 'doing a Wilkin' thing. Did you watch the game on Saturday? I can't remember who it was now, but at one stage, whilst the ball was in play, Ganson asked a HKR player if he wanted to make a complaint. When the player answered in the negative Ganson simply played on.

The Wilkin thing was tongue in cheek, it wasn't serious. I don't like it either. We have a referee and a video review panel for that.

But anyway, on to the numerous replies with regard to Solomona; yes, he does possess love handles, he is slightly overweight etc, but his value for money is second to none. He's skilful, absorbs around 3 to 4 defenders at a time, tough, defends well and is quite frankly the fittest fat knacker I've ever seen! And whats even greater, is those liability areas you associate with Feka etc are non existent. He covers gaps well, and isn't targeted because he doesn't give an inch in defence.

Therefore I'm inclined t believe that Wigan would certainly have Solomona in their squad. And this isn't an 'our squad is better than yours' reply, because I'd take a few of your players to Wire if given the chance.
