LMS - werent they on X Factor last year?

For those who take a little more notice of the NRL than I do, how does Tronc compare with others we've been linked such as O'Meley and Webb.

Having a very good season, like it says in the above article he would be due for a large pay rise because of his performances this season, hence why he is being squeezed out because of the cap.

Hasn't hit the hights that the big big names have had in the past, but is still a very good player at a much younger age than O'Meley. I'd probably rate him higher than those two off this season alone, which is the one that matters i suppose.

Sounds like the kind of unit were in dire need of.

Tronc has been one of the stand out performers for NQ when i have seen them play this year. On the plus side he is a big unit hardworking solid pro, he has good mobility for a unit as well, he is not the enforcer that we need but if non of quality are available Tronc would be a fine addition to any team in SL.

A few teams are in for him, last i heard and as has been reported on the Trinity forum, Wakefield seemed in the driving seat for him a few weeks ago, we could always "Pongia" them though i guess.

So many strange images sprung to mind just then, some quite disturbing.

I'd go with Tronc and Cayless then, we'd probably start with those two however my only fear would be that Fielden would be on the bench even with his poor form, not allowing Prescott or O'Barrel a go.

You'd hope, with Hock now off the register, we'd be in a position to gazump anybody. But I guess it's a mater of how much groundwork has already been done on the player.

From the comments it sounds as though they are only talking to one club.
IL was at the game and Tronc appears to be a very good player and ideal for Wigan.
If he does sign then do we keep Coley so Tronc is the fourth prop with Prescott & O'Carroll the two back ups or, do we release Coley and run with three main props plus Prescott & O'C as we have had this year?
I'd prefer to keep Coley. Again, changes are afoot possibly with Noble and today we find out Hock's fate.

Looks like a few club's are after Myler including us, and were also supposedly after Jordan Turner, Salford fans wont be happy if we were to take both.

Came to England twice and went back after one year. It just doesn't work out for him.

Turner would be a very good signing, i think this lad has a massive future in the game.

Was just going to comment on this , the guy was homesick last time he was here, so there is no chance of a return unfortunatly.

Oh god, someone needs to take IL on holiday before he sees the opportunity for another "value, project, favourable contract" signing.

In other words - a crock.

And the highlight of his time at Wigan was just about outpacing the slowest fullback in superleage....

Personally I think he's a better long term prospect than Myler. Can play in all positions across the back line including loose forward and a good attitude to go along with it.
