It'll be a tough game. We seem to be catching them as they're getting back to their best and we still look shaky in terms of creating chances.

Any sort of win will be a good one going in to the Wire game.

Our pack getting stronger, just need to snuff out their wings...

Could be a tough one this. A few weeks ago I would have really fancied our chances. They'll be a lot more confident after last week and probably play with a bit more freedom with the confidence gained from billing Warrington. We've obviously still got a significant number of players missing however hopefully those in the 19 will have recovered from the illness now and will be raring to go. Difficult game to call and I'm not going to tempt fate by predicting a scoreline.

According to my die-hard wolf mate, Wire lost the game, rather than Hudds winning it.
If we play to our potential, despite the absentees, and stop giving away possession (both discipline and handling), we should be OK.
Playing conditions should be good, as should be the condition of the pitch (when was the last wendyball played?)
I'd be disappointed if we didn't improve our overall points difference to at least 10 into the black.

Latics played last night drew.

They were away though at Burton.

I went against Coventry last week and the pitch looked OK.

Latics could have a monster truck rally on the pitch in our off season and it would still be the rugby at fault.

I must say against Cov the pitch looked OK but no better. There looked to be some wear and tear on it.

BIG renovation being done to the pitch in May and June. It may well cause problems if we progress to the Challenge Cup Quarter Finals and are drawn at home.

Oh that will make a nice change. I don't think the fans will stand for that again.

True, with free coaches though we might manage 250, but I'm sure we will make more noise than the snoozing Wigan fans.

There might not be many giants fans turn up but as rlfans they are always a good group good to chat to before or after games, unlike some of the better supported teams

Interesting. A 5 point win over 12 men for 60 minutes against bottom of the league- that's better than Warrington did. How relieved did wane look when you went in front-I think we matched you pretty much throughout apart from the first 10 minutes when we looked shaky. Losing Connor also affected us we were shattered in the final minutes. Penalties killed us in that second half - can't believe wane sent Bateman back on the field at half time to complain about the ruck speed!!!!!! Irony much.

And how good is Danny brough with John wells- the best there is at it.

You have come out of that with a lot of credit. It was fairly typical of our season. Working hard, gaining good field position and building pressure but ultimately lacking the finesse to score a lot of points. A lot will probably made with Bateman asking the ref about ruck speed then the following penalties as on the face of it it doesn't look good. If you look at the penalties Wigan earnt them by winning collision. We started the second half very well and once tackled were battling to get back up again, something we didn't do in the first half. Whoever gave the penalty for the high tackle on the next play after the team warning wants shooting. That was terrible. Even though you scored in those 10 mins I think that plus loosing an interchange gave us the oportunity to push on and win.

I'm not surprised for a moment that Wigan questioned the ruck speed, Hudds were diabolical...
