Jinkin Jimmy may have been fishing but he is actually spot on. It was the most blatant targeting of one player I have ever seen when we played Hull at the DW last season. Our very own Eric Luaki was the main culprit, it was tactics that I thought went out with the Arc.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to this game. Can't remember the last time I said that about a league match.

Both sides have key players out but my reasoning behind that prediction is that Hull don't seem to be able to put in a good performance for a full game. We have some good flashes but then a lot of poor moments. We need to get some more consistency. We also give away a lot of penalties (2nd highest in the league for it) which you guys will take advantage of.

Danny Houghton went off injured during the Salford game (missed the entire 2nd half) and is going to be having a late fitness test to see if he's able to play. If he can't, we may as well give you the points now.

Stupid name????? JJ was one of the players of my youth I'll have you know! Anyway, others on here know I am correct. Manu et al's treatment of Sam was a disgrace, matched only by the incompetence of the officials in allowing it. Hopefully, that tactic has upped sticks to Belle View along with it's instigator.

Probably about right and despite the impressive overall attendance I think the poor away support just took the edge off the event.

Really did expect more of them to make the effort.

Walked to the car park with a few of the Hull fans and they were a pleasure to chat to. Very magnanimous in defeat and acknowledged that we were by far the best team in the comp and that Sam is a class apart. They also made a good noise at the ground too so, although it might not have been the highest showing in terms of numbers they get a big thumbs up from me!
