yeah, there was nothing in the one that he did at cardiff either, despite him pleading guilty and picking up a ban.

| Didn't think there was any malicious intent, just unfortunate the way Clarkson's body contorted as he was taken to the ground. It's not like Lima is the only player to wrap-up around the knee area in Super League

| Lima had EVERY RIGHT to aim for his legs in that tackle.
Clarkson's body was already wrapped up by defender but his legs were still pumping and making yards.
The combination of him falling awkwardly and the reaction of the Leeds players made the tackle appear much worse than it was.
Glad to see he is ok but there was no foul play involved.

Correct I've just watched the sky+ recording.
At the game I thought the sin binning was justified, but after watching it again the Leeds player is still moving forward and the tackle actually starts above the knee. It looks worse because of the way the Leeds player falls back in the tackle, and I can see why on first viewing the sin bin was given.

The ref and the touchjudge didn't have a problem with it until the Leeds players got involved so the decision for a penalty and sinbinning came from somewhere else which is what annoyed me at the time.
The Leeds players did the same again a few minutes later getting involved in a tackle by a Wigan player where they saw something they didn't like. The ref this time waved play on when for me they should be the ones getting a penalty against them. If the ref hasn't seen something to penalise Wigan then why isn't he penalising the Leeds players for pushing and shoving for no reason.

It's like watching Premier League footballers with some of these Leeds players lately.

I fully agree. Watching him at the game I didnt think he played particularly well, but watching it back just now he never stopped working. I still expect a bit more from him but if he carries on progress like that I'll be happy!

My dad was calling him rotten in the car after the game and I said I thought he was getting it totally wrong. His workrate in attack is very good and he's always making himself available for carries.
In defence if anything he's too eager. He's getting involved in tackles when he's a touch late and he doesn't need to. It's getting him on bother and for me he should just get himself back in the line.

Leeds are an angry team . I have no idea why. Maybe it's having to live in Leeds. It's an horrible place. I have a daughter who lives in Leeds and looks after them when they seriously hurt each other.

| I thought it was a bad one when I watched it on TV.
Lima's already poor disciplinary record doesn't help his case either.

| Can Leeds really complain when they have a guy like Ryan Bailey playing for them?
I lost count of the times he had the hand/elbow in the face of an opponent last night.
Was amusing when he kept getting put on his backside though.

I'm split to be honest. I have tried to look at it subjectively this morning.
A part of me says it was a little reckless maybe, don't think it was malicious...agreed his recent poor record may go against him.
Another part of me thinks we ain't playing tiddlywinks and the fact it seemed the point of impact was the thigh.
Sin-bin probably correct decision....ban? Not so sure.

Thought Ben Cross out-did Bailey last night. Threw a punch at Sam at the play the ball...Silverwood shouted 'get up'.

I don't think it was malicious either, but isn't that the sort of tackle that everyone got an e-mail about? Saying that it was going to be clamped down on?

| Lets face it he'll get at least a match ban which is a shame because he's settling down now imo. His workrate in attack is very good taking in his fair share of carries. He doesn't make massive impact on the defensive line but will always make you yards through his sheer desire to take the ball up(abit like James Graham).
His defence still needs attention.

| I thought Lima was a little harshly dealt with TBH, I think Silverwood had lost control early on in the game, (after the 1st 5mins JJB & Buderus should have gone. I thought Buderus & Cross was lucky to stay on in the last 8 mins as well.) the game looked to be getting out of control and he had to act, Lima came in and it was stupid, but the leeds players all rushing in & Sinfield getting into the refs face made the situation look a lot worse than it actually was.

One thing comes to mind 'The boy that cried wolf'. Thats what happens when you 'bend' the rules of the game to suit you, when something does really happen no one listens. Isn't this a lesson we teach our children at a young age?

Much the same as the Hull game last night. Leeds like Hull came out to niggle and target Wigans players yet we'll get cast as the villans of the piece due to Lima making a 'borderline' tackle.

I just don't like how Sam Tomkins gets smashed about & targeted & Eddie is laughing saying he is milking. Yet if he FOff to Union he is the 1st to kick off about players needing protection & leaving the sport.
I think the treatment Sam gets is nothing short of assualt on a weekly basis.
