They were trying that back when I was at school. Couldnt get anyone down then either. Remember coming home n telling my dad (8 years old) that I've got a ticket to go watch Wigan for free. He said "Rugby seasons off now though" shows you even with the Rugby Season off he didn't think it could have been football.
Funny really they were in the same league as our team (Crewe) back then! haha
Didnt go of course Crewe were probably in some sort of relegation battle at that time. |

You get glory hunters with any success. Blackpool couldn't sell out 2 stands and can now sell out 3 and 1/2. Watch our crowds next year.
We're a small club (you can quote me) in a town overrun by scousers, mancs and their offspring. It will take us a generation of being in the PL to grow a fanbase not 6 years

I agree re.glory hunters, but latics seem to have some real horribble b*stards espcially when you know what team theyve proclaimed to support in the past. |

However, this week the same contributors on www.cockneylatic.co.uk/forum/vie ... f=5&t=6084 now find it acceptable to offer free tickets to Heinz pensioners, or cheap deals to people outside of the Borough.
At least we are consistant in our view that any fan is welcome to come and support tha Warriors, whether they travel half a mile or 500 miles. |
