I am surprised that the "Magic" weekend isn't the bank holiday weekend like it usually is. I'm sure it will pull in more people on a bank holiday weekend than it will on a normal one. Last year we were on last on the Sunday night and I'm sure that if it was the same this time then it would put some people off if they are up early for work the following day.

Only downer for me was that I was hoping Catalan away would have been a month or so earlier to try and get a good deal on an all inclusive in Calella or similar.

Glad we've been able to schedule in enough time to have a good stab at the WCC.

I glad there's not many Thursday games and only 1 yorkshire away game. My only real gripe is that both Leeds and Wire home games will probably be dead rubbers

What vital positions? There are none within top 5.

There's no real difference as long as you finish in the top 4. There's no way I can see us going into them all guns blazing with the play offs around the corner. Just look at Leeds at home this year and Saints at home last year. Wigan ST holders get a 'scrum ticket' whereby you can bring 6 friends for a fiver each to any home game bar Saints. Our group will have 3 to use, I had planned to go for Hudds, Leeds and Wire but think I'll go Hudds, Hull F.C and Les Cats/Salford now I've seen the fixtures

I agree, but with 2 games to go Leeds, Warrington and Wigan may not all be guaranteed a top 4 finish.

It would need 2 of the 3 to be fighting to make the top 4 to make it an important game though. Even if that was the case I reckon we would be more inclined to play the long game and focus on the play offs

I'm guessing the fixtures have been reversed as Huddersfield's ground is not available the week before the season starts, as the football team is at home, ironically against Wigan.

The truth is every game of the regular season is a friendly thanks to the RFL. If us, Leeds, Wire, Hudds and Saints don't finish top five I'll eat a Hollands pie!

Where on earth are we going to squeeze in that Widnes game? It's either got to be after the last scheduled game against Wire or they're hoping we crash out of the cup.

Like you say they're probably waiting to see if we get knocked out of the cup. Otherwise they'll probably have to go Friday, Wednesday, Sunday
