I don't think he will, after seeing him dance down the touchline yesterday, after whats his name, went full length of the field, I think he is loving it in RU, and to come back, things will either have to go very bad in RU or we offer a huggggggggge money deal to him!

No. Is the simple answer. Not in the near future anyway. Too much money and prospects for him in Union I think.

He would do .... he gives his all to which ever club he coaches or plays for. Thats why he is a success.

Shaun Edwards is one of the few (if not the only) pom I admire.

In 10-15 years, definitely. Edwards doesn't strike me as someone motivated by money, the man is a born winner. He'll be back at Wigan in the future, I'm 100% certain of it.

I reckon in the next 5.

It depends on how succesful our next coach is really. If Noble leaves we could have someone come in and win us the league next year so therefore he would be in the job for a few years.

Who will replace him though??

It needs to be a big big name

We should not be looking at one man but a serious of men who know the Wigan culture which Radlinski talks about in his book. We need Radlinski on board for a start along with Lam and Farrell.

Spot on, it's the culture that wrong at Wigan, to get that back you've got to get players back to the club who were here when the culture was unquestionable.
I've always though as well that it wouldn't hurt for the club to get back in contact with certain players, and see whether they would come in one day a week and speaker to the youngster who currently plays in the same position they did, giving them advice about on and off field activities as well as way's they can improve there game and life. For example I was always a big fan of Neil Cowie and would love him to come and mentor the likes of O'Barrel and Prescott.

If we get a team of ex players like that though along with a top class coach then it could not be argued that the coaching was not good enough IMO that would just be an excuse. If we were still poo then it's the players.

More chance of Wigan Athletic winning the Premiership than there is of Edwards becoming Wigan RL coach in the next 2-3years.

both are long shots,but a wouldnt use the latics as an analogy its not long since they were in the 4th div

Oh yeah I don't deny that, but I think the time scale people are saying on here (2-3years) is unrealistic.

I have no doubts he'll return to Wigan one day - he's said it himself he want's too. Just not in the forseeable future IMHO.

If we ever needed him to return it would be now but as you say he isn't going to return for a while

5 would be awesome but I rekon he will want a few more world cups under his belt before he switches codes.
