I'll be very surprised if you don't beat that. This is a huge weekend for RL. The Hull, Wigan and Leeds games should draw nigh on 60,000 fans between them and overall the weekend should draw well over 80,000 to all SL matches. What publicity has the RFL given to this? Absolutely nothing.

Yeah I went, it was against Arsenal, they did a £5 a ticket deal like we are doing against Wire.

Why cant the North(Away) stand be allocated seats tickets, there is no need for it to be unreserved like the South

The tics deal was for the last 3 home games for £12 wereas ours was limited to 1000 seats in each stand for a tenner, tics loyal fans could have as many deals as they wanted.
If theres a £5 a ticket deal, theres a couple of hundred seats left, get 'em bought and sell them for a tenner a piece.

The estimates on here have been based on there being a 10% reduction for H&S, but that was actually increased to 15% during last season, so the North Stand allocation is approximately 4,500 - there were another 300 available in the East if required, and another allocation in the West should you shift the two previous allocations.

But surely that doesnt expain why we had (according to ticketmaster) 1073 tickets left on Tuesday night and 1102 left tonight?

Really can't wait for this game now. Is this the biggest league game since beating Saints at KR to win the league in 2000?

Having read p32 I think Matt is saying Wire have not sold their allocations in East and West stand so maybe they have returned some tickets and that explains the discrepancy. I will see if Matt will confirm this.

They weren't part of our allocation Wigan just held them incase our sales went beyond that of the North stand.

Doesn't look like the demand is there from us so they go on general sale to Wigan fans.

From what i understand there were 300 tickets in the east and 300 tickets in the west that were reserved for Wire if they sold their initial allocation in the north stand. As they haven't sold all their tickets and therefore don't need the extra seats in the east and west stands, the tickets have been released for general sale.

So that means we have actually sold 571 tickets today and had 600 reserved for Wire released for general sale.

Yeah. Because the seats were reserved for Wire they'll have shown up as sold on the online ticketing before they were released for general sale today.

I think we may well sell 1000 tickets then, particularly as the ones reserved for Wire will be in a block and allow groups of people buying in the next few days to sit together.

Looks like the club were expecting ALOT more from the wire.

As long as its 20k plus i don't care. What will be a shame is when the playoffs come round and we are only getting about 12k on it will feel dead flat when the playoff games are so called the most important. The GF will never take over winning the league as far as I'm concerned.
