You have to remember most wigan fans differentiate from saints legend and RL legend and respect other teams legends. As we respect Morley (not a legend yet i imagine). When wire fans as a whole start to learn respect for other teams players past and present and other teams fans then wire will start to get respect but ATM they're a bit alike the over enthusiastic virgin getting a little excited too early and not pacing themselves.

Sculthorpe can't be coach as there are not enough mirrors, hair dryers and gel at the club after Hansen & Fielden have filled their boots!

You fearing the mighty RFL Ban lottery? Perry got banned for one of the least impressive fights I've seen on a Rugby field in some time so you really never know ... and what do expect from trash like the Guardian?

I didn't see the Perry one so can't comment, but honestly in that "brawl" in Montpellier there wasn't a punch thrown.

Not sure why this, if true, is causing so much bemusement. As has already been said if the article had been about Rads or Faz it would have been broadly treated as a wise decision but their coaching experience is possibly even more limited than Sculthorpe's.

IL doesn't seem to do anything without having full possession of all the facts and while he's not flawless he hasn't done much wrong IMO since he took over. It'll take some getting used to having a player I hated on our staff but then I suppose I wouldn't have hated him if he'd been bobbins. If nothing else at least he's home grown. I'm getting a little tired of seeing Australians (not all, I grant you) pack their bags early as soon as a decent offer comes in from the NRL.

The Guardian isn't trash, it's just the wrong side of centre. The Sun, Mirror, Star, Mail and Express are trash. (Plus anything else resembling a tabloid or Heat magazine)

They weren't. Hoffman pulled a Cats player away as he was laying on in the tackle on Sam Tomkins. It was in the 79th minute. There was some pushing and shoving from a couple of players on either side but no punches were throw.

I cant see if anyone has been sited on the RFL website. TBH i can see any bans being banded around with the origin game looming.

A rookie head coach with a rookie assistant doesn't seem a particularly wise choice to me. In the current set-up at least Madge had a long apprenticeship under a coaching guru in Bellamy and Waney was a coach of the youth and reserve teams, the same can't be said if it is a Wane/Sculthorpe partnership.

I expect there might be another surprise to come out soon.
