Looks like Wigan will be playing their under 16s for the under19s game.

On a serious note I'd hope we would either abandon it rather or draft in local players rather than throw in a load of young lads against 18 year olds.

The Leeds game could be very interesting if neither side want to win

Would certainly be an advert to Sky of how s*it the format is

Wiggy and Baldy would convince everybody that the entire Leeds squad will be playing carrying death defying injuries and Wigan are only proving what devious barstewards they are, as they have been advocating for years.

We would probably be found guilty of breaking the spirit of some rule as well

The first year U19's (last years u16's) are a very talented side, probably the best I have seen as a large group. I think they'll still be strong enough to win on Sunday.

It's the outside backs that are depleted and we've got plenty of cover in that department. We've still got Fell, Scrivens, Thompson, Taylor, Gildart, Grimes, Baggaley, Doran and Shorrocks who should be more than capable while there's no one missing from the forwards. The under 19's should be fine.

I'm looking forward to seeing a lot of the 19's play on Friday, anyone who's been up to Orrell this year will know how special they are when on song.

It's a great reward for them to be given a shot on Friday, whilst resting our strongest team for the play-offs.

I'm happy no matter what the result is on Friday, fair play to Wane.

To be honest I'm more looking forward to this game than I would be if it was a full strength Wigan squad.

Plus, why on earth would you not attend a home play off fixture against anyone if you've bought a season ticket, never ever will understand that one.

If you get a chance have a look at the u19s videos. Those lads in the frame for the Superleague game have either not been playing for the u19s or have rarely all played in the same teams. Even without the first choice wings and fullback the 19s are still a formidable unit.

I don't see why anyone would be bothered about this side because they'd bought a season ticket tbh. There is no guarantee that a full side will be played every week and ultimately as a season ticket holder surely you want to see what's best for the team?!! In this case that's resting the players ready for the important games.

Throw in the chance to watch a raft of future stars on Friday and it's fine by me.

Fair enough, if we have the depth I'm happy. As others have said, I'm actually more excited for this game knowing Tierney, Burgess, Manfredi, Hampshire, Williams and Crosby will get a run out. What are your thoughts on Lloyd? I know Rogues really rated him last year but I've not heard much this year

I think Hull with have more of their u19's missing with a couple called up for the first team and eight suspended.

Luckily next season is the last with this bobbins playoff format. From 2015 the league will be meaningful again. Because if that I'm keeping my ST next season so I don't lose my seat for 2015

That's up to them.
I'm really looking forward to seeing how the youngsters perform on Friday. They may shock a few on here.
