Noble to Celtic and Michael Mcguire to Wigan is now pretty much a certainty.

Mcguire is untested as a head coach of course but is rated as one of the top coaching prospects around in Australia and has been the assistant coach of the NRL minor premiers three years running (2006 - 200icon_cool.gif.

As I said a while ago. Noble will be joined by Iestyn Harris and the only thing holding up the McGuire move is possibñe problems with regards to his lack of first grade coaching.

No I wouldn't have complained, but I'm not complaining that we don't know anything either.

I would be complaining though, if Noble himself did not know what his future was and was simply waiting. As he deserves better than that considering what he has done for us.

The man himself says he doesnt. I dont understand why people are so quick to dismiss that to prove their point.

Fair play to Catalancs he called well, whether it becomes true is another matter but it's heading that way.

Perhaps Catalancs you should make a thread when Noble's announced by Celtic and you can tell everyone you told them so.



Personally I don't care where Noble goes, all that matters to me is who comes to Wigan.

Celtic have now announced that Dixon is gone......they will not announce a new coach i would expect till Wigan go out of the comp out of respect.

I may go on the Celtic site to see if they are all panicing clearly as no new man has been announced so they must be going into 2010 with no coach!!

He does seem to tick all the boxes, Im not getting my hopes up however.

For the love of god mate, this 'exact same thing' is from a club who's season was effectively over weeks ago, not one in a playoff spot. I wonder if they'd have done exactly the same if they'd actually been facing relegation and still had a chance to survive?

Where have i ever stated that i or anyone else knows whats happening? Ive given my opinion of what i think may of happened and that is based on what has been said/done. Since you have admitted you do not know what is happening then it kind of makes your argument that i am wrong plain daft!



I can live with that. I will hardly lose sleep because somebody who thinks they know it all and their word is final thinks that 'i know less than most'.

I stated that it would of been reasonable for IL to come out and say 'Brian Noble will not be here next year and we will make an announcement on the new coach as soon as possible'.

Cruncher then stated that IL would of looked like a prat if he had gone down that route.

Well 10 pages on im still wondering why IL would of looked like a prat.

I used the Celtic scenario as an example of a club announcing their coach is leaving without them stating who their new coach is.
