Payback for what? Making WIgan forwards scared to carry the ball forward? That isn't a crime, with the exception of Lockers your pack looked scared Friday. I hear alot of good things about Mossop but he's yet to impress me, I love JT's aggression but I think he doesn't use it correctly i.e cheap shots and digs.

Yes, that's correct, Wandering Warrior. Wigan were basically outmuscled/outgunned on Friday - the Warrington pack was over a stone per man heavier ( And that was not counting Deacon!) Wigan had only 2 mainline props and these were targetted by Wire - nothing illegal as such on Fielden, but he was creamed early doors. Some would say excellent tactics from Tony Smith and Lowes. The point I was making is that Wigan will have the heavy artillery out next season - Lima and Hoffman as well as hopefully Micky Mac and Gareth Hock, in addition to the current forwards.

It should be a very interesting spectacle to see how the game against Wire develops next year ...! Whether it be payback, or whether it just be what goes around comes around....!

Doubt that to be honest. Still lot's of grunt in our pack and your pack is still lightweight in that area as Hansen, Prescott and JT are a bit fairyesque, but they're great young talents, and as for Micky Mac..I can only presume you're on a wind up. Capiche.

And Fielden's performances that year certainly helped us out of the hole we were in. Not a bad bit of business by us all things considered.

Let's just wait and see then what happens next year. For the record, I and a lot of Wigan fans are confident about the 2011 pack holding its own against any other team in the Super league - for the first time in years. Maybe 6 maybe 10, maybe 12 depending on how you viewed the pack.

And don't underestimate Micky Mac - I think you'll find he's a pretty hard customer. That comment may come back to haunt you in future years!

Fielden should take the treatment Wire handed out to him as a compliment. They knew he was our only top line senior prop on show and they knew that made him our most important player. If they had left him room to move in then he could have carried our front row like he's done at times but they didn't and we felt the effects of that.

Overall he's having a top season though and he has to be signed up asap. We have Lima and Hoffman coming in to 'add' to the pack and they will only do that if guys like Fielden and Coley stay on. If they were to leave then I honestly don't see the pack moving on from this year(if at all).

It's a weird thing for me watching Fielden. One run I know he can make some good metres, other times i'm cringing as he's running in because he's always liable to cough up the ball and knock on. His work in defence often goes unnoticed though, solid defender which is always a plus.

He really seems to have rid the errors from his game this year apart from in 2 games against Leeds and Wire. It didn't help that it was wet weather on Friday night and he was quite obviously targetted and fair play to the Warrington coach and pack for that.

He's having a superb season and I expect him to step up another gear next year if he's here to play alongside big, tough forwards like Lima, Hoffman and then Hock.

After watching Lima play at the weekend,I dont think he will improve your forwards.He was poor kept knocking on.

It's so hard to judge any overseas player especially on one game. Over the years we've seen big name, big money players come over and be pathetic wastes of money and then on the other hand you see some unknown and low budget players come over and become club ledgends.

On paper our three signings look top draw but who knows if they'll turn out like that. I'm more confident now under Maguire that these guys will be hits but theres no guarentee's.
