FWIW, Wigan RL's oldest fans flag - originally displayed at Wembley 1989 will be making a rare appearance from the loft over the weekend in Cardiff.

As its not been washed and has been stored unlovingly away you will smell it before you see it.

For those of you with long memories, I am of course referring to the infamous PIE ARMY Union Jack.

Hope some of the chequered Red & White hand held flags which were waved last night will be saved and brought to the DW for the evening of the World Club Challenge.

Would add a lot to what we're expecting to be a fantastic night of colour & noise (not to be missed).

Hope there is time for the club to sell such flags (or if not hopefully the unofficial sellers will be in attendance outside the ground).

Was thinking the same thing. They'd compliment everything else. Try and pack that South Stand with as much colour as we can.

Although I love my seat in the East near the half way, i'm a bit miffed that I won't be in the South for this game, it's definitely going to be special!

Was with Conroy in Cardiff and have to say I'm very impressed with the Ultra's hoodie. Put me down for one if you decide to have a batch made.

Not sure a drunken Conroy is the best advert for the hoodies though

Did anyone watch the Man City game tonight? That Greek team put on a great display, loads of good wavers and banners and they never shut up.

IMO it all looked tacky and OTT!

I'll concede that some of the banners round the pitch were tacky, but the one with the bulldog with a big spliff hanging out it's gob was skill. And all the wavers were fantastic.

Aris fans are the best in the world! No doubt about it!
