Saints have a few Red/white/blue ones. Not too keen on blue to be honest. Let Latics have that colour. It looks as though the club may alternate between a black & blue away shirt. Maybe if they see fans making something of the colour black on the terraces thay may be inclined to stick with that colour. The club have also put out red & black merchandise in the shop - scarves, tops etc
By the way, I hope your right too. Took delivery yesterday of 4 massive flags for next season, one of which is red/white/black/white/red.
Played it safe with the other 3. Red/white different designs. |

Basically the only flags that can be erected have to be less than 4ft in depth. Any larger and they would hang over the view of the exec boxes.
Every single one we have so far is over that (5ft in depth is the smallest we have).
There is absolutely nowhere else for them to go as it stands.
Without wishing to soundy funny, We've been working on this with the RFL/Engage/Man utd Ground safety & Wigan RL for the past 2 months on the off chance we would get there.
Final decision was made on Friday
I kept it quiet because I didn't want us to look like we were getting ahead of ourselves but MattyB Jimmy Birts Conroy etc will confirm that these negotiations have been going on and we've tried tremendously hard to get it to work.
Apologies as it doesn't look like it's a goer, I'll update you as the week goes on if there's any change.
