Faz is still a player and has no coaching experience, will make a great assistant in a couple of years, hopefully under Edwards but not a short term option.

how do you know that, certainly got the balls for the job noble should realize his time is up, he had the chance of a good job in france and turned it down

Did he? The story came out at a very good time for Brian Noble with regards a contract negotiation at Wigan.

The man is a survivor, not a great coach but credit where it is due his survival tactics have to be admired.

We will not hence why i hope Faz is an assistant under Edwards in 3/4 years time.

I have no doubt Edwards will be back at Wigan, nor Faz, but it will not happen in the short term.

You mentioned wigan had only 6 players who wanted to play for wigan (I never said you named them) I only asked if noble had signed the 6 who wanted to play for wigan.

If you honestly think that the coach is at fault here then you need :

a. More life experience
b. More RL knowledge

I know that mate, what I was saying was, he's probably the only coach good enough at the moment to coach Wigan.

I don't think it's the coach, it's the players - If you look at Football, Scolari for example, that he's won the world cup, and yet, because Chelsea had lost so many games in a row... He was sacked?!? ... It's the same with Noble, all he's acheived with Bradford, sacking him won't make a difference... It's the team, not the coach. Something isn't right, and it needs be sorted.

As it has been mentioned often enough, Edwards will not come to Wigan until his son is older. Wanting something wont make it happen. Noble will be here for the rest of the season because Maurice isnt in charge anymore. The next coach should be Lam, with Farrell as his assistant. Lam has the experience, and the two of them together would die for Wigan.

If you read Brett Kenny's section of that Match of my life book, he says that when they sacked Millward, he sent his CV to the club but it diddnt get there in time. Maybe he'll try again if he does go. But I heard the club would lose 1m if he was sacked

I can't see how the 2 most successful coaches of the summer era are having this happen to them.

That being said, the squads bear no resemblence to each other.

Regardless, our players leave a helluva lot to be desired. That being said, im sure the skirt they get in Walkabout tonight will cheer them up.

Because they both have garbage man management skills. Millward is twice the coach Noble is, but the Wigan job was beyond the wrong move looking back.

If Noble gets another job after Wigan i assure you it will be his last.
