Still don't think that would work. The fans want big ties.

| I dont think the game should be moved as its slighlty disrespectful to North Wales to do it. The point of the cup is that a litttle club could get that dream away day and play at a stadium like ours, moving it to Orrell takes the occasion away for the away team and fans.

| Not really anything to do with our tie but according to the BBC website (in the article about the cup draw) two games from round four are being shown live on BBC. Coupled with the lack of any announced coverage from Sky maybe it means that the rumoured sky coverage isn't happening.
*Edit* - The BBC site has been changed now to say one game live on BBC. Still no announcement from Sky though. Will probably happen once BBC have chosen the game they will show.

I don't expect we'll get a quick decision as the club are moving offices at moment from DW Stadium to the new "Central Park" complex on Montrose Avenue. So I think they are a bit busy till tomorrow. We shall see though.

No, no, no, no, no. The lad was only playing Under 16s last season. Well too soon for first team chances.

Just to add, I have a feeling that Williams may end up as a 9.

| Interesting to read some of the comments on these pages regarding the Challenge cup draw. Attendance size has been discussed with many suggesting only 4000 to 5000 will attend. None were specific as to say whether this was before the mass exodus before full time or otherwise. "It will be like a morgue" suggested one fan; well, not where Crusaders fans are concerned - we may be few but we are noisy! I am saddened that some of your fans will not come out and support their team because they think it will be an easy tie.
There are also suggestions that the game could be played at Wrexham or Orrell. I am not sure why Orrell has been suggested but the Cup draw has given Wigan home advantage and the tie shouldnt be messed with (as pointed out by one fan), it will be a massive game for our newly formed team and a dream fixture for our players. Why would Warriors fans want to deny this to our lads?
Another suggestion is that Wigan put out their U18s team. I am sure our coaching team will only need to pin up these comments in the dressing room and no more motivation will be needed.
Looking forward to our cup tie. Crusaders am byth!

| Williams has been a stand out in the 20's games I have seen this season.
I think he may have an outside chance of a game in this one.
Maybe it is too soon but I don't think it'll be too long before he's knocking on the door for a spot.

No me neither. Just leave them to develop their skills. I'm a firm believer, unless things get drastic with injuries, that a player should do a full year in the 20s before even being considered. Generally that is what happens.
Also by giving him a game to early, you could knacker him mentally where a player thinks he's made it and ready way before he is. I point the finger at Luke Robinson from our past.

You may be new to the game, but you've clearly not wasted any time buying into its myths.
Pop over onto the Warrington message board, and you'll find plenty more. They believe most of them too.

They will but again I'll stress that the club have been busy moving their whole operation this week out of the DW Stadium to the new "Central Park" complex. I'm sure we'll hear before the end of the week.

How patronising.
Some NWCrusaders fans may be new to the game but many have been watching rugby league for many years and know as much about the game as any fans of traditional heartlands clubs. There isn't a 'Berlin Wall' at the border with us on this side living in a twilight zone. Many have supported other clubs, yes some even Wigan, before we finally got our own team to support in North Wales. For that reason these fans are the most passionate and get behind the team win, lose or draw - even after a 66-16 defeat a couple of weeks ago.
Over 40 years watching the game and the Wigan Walk is certainly no myth.

I think I'm right in saying I'm the only person on this thread who mentioned the under 18's. I should point out that it was a joke about the team put out against Widnes.

Don't waste your breath. The prat's been watching the game a month, and he's already reached some pretty snap conclusions about Wigan and Wiganers.

Appologies to cherry pie if i didn't see the irony in your post.
As for cruncher - well how rude. I am certainly a relative new-comer to RL but have followed the Crusaders in their SL days and now in Championship 1. I have been to Wigan a few times an I have seen the turnstiles marked "early exit". I am not going to result to name calling. As my dear old nan said "if you cant say anything nice about a person, say nothing". Enjoy your rugby league.

Would they be the same early exi turnstiles that every ground has?
