There's more incidents like that in Australia because:
1. The sport is more in the public eye than here so they need to made a show of.
2. The SL hides these things instead.
3. Beers much cheaper in Australia probably haha

The last is a joke obviously but seriously it's mostly the higher profile and the fact the sport in this country tries to hide it instead of dealing with it.

I'd take a chance on young Roberts. He has looked an an excellent prospect whenever I have seen him play.

In fairness we have enough "prospects". What we need is experience (especially in the halves).

1. Its interesting to a lot of people
2. Madge is a Wigan legend for what he did in his two years here

Can't see how anyone at Wigan would not be pleased to read about how well he is doing at Souths and just like any other coach he is entitled to try and sign our players.

Im sure that if Souths did not sign Tomkins then another club would do, same with Lima and any other player.

Madge came over here and broke a monolopy in the superleague and now he aims to do it down under, and us wiganers hope he can do it. Good luck to him and let him continue to lead the way in the progresssion of rugby.

Been a Souths fan for years...and would love it over there for their fans to finally overcome the years of adversity and underachievement to finally do it! And would love it for madge!

Also imagine how great the WCC would be. Sure we'd probably get pasted as we will be early season and not fully recovered from the loss of finch leiuleui and carmont, but we'd have nothing to lose.

Imagine what a great WCC to also market..........Two most famous and oldest clubs in the world, unrivaled history with a master v apprentice dimension thrown in for good measure!

Really suprised at how quickly he has turned things around at Souths though, I expected him to do well but not this quickly.

Just shows what a difference a good coach can make to a club.

Shows what a fantastic coach can do....I genuinely believe he is the next super coach, the next wayne bennett the sport will be talking about in years to come...and we were privilaged to have him at wigan.

Part of me is surprised at how well he has done at souths but part of me is not.

Fact is, like us when madge came, souths have been underachieing for years....just look at the team - Any team with Inglis, Burgess, Isaac Luke, Dave Taylor, Crocker, Asotasi, and King should not be also rans, but for too many years they havent motivated themselves correctly and had a poor culture in the team....much the same way we had under noble before maguire game......we had virtually the same set of players don't forget who had finished 4th one season to winning the league the following year, and undoubted W/c players such as Tommy / SOL / Tomkins twins / Richards/ Carmont etc. but they hadn't lived up to the billing.

He's just followed the same model of discipline and a kick up the @r5e for those resting on their laurels!

Part of me is surprised though given they lost Sandow and went into the season with no recognised half....but then look at the players he has unearthed in Everingham and Reynolds! To go from out of the top 8 to what I expect will now be minor premiers in a year is pretty astonishing.....I think they will sneak top too - Look at their losses - half of them came in the first 4 games, since then they've only lost 3 which shows they have been the best in the league. Can see canterbury slip up before the end of the yr and souths nick it.

Would be fantastic for Souths, madge, and the game as a whole IMO!
