IF Gleeson sorts his head out of the field and applies himself fully on the field then he will be a star at Wigan and the player week in week out you are expecting. It takes pressure of the club if the fans dont think we have a lot left on the cap money. I said last week Goulding was not in the deal Smith was offered but they wanted cash instead and who can blame them. Goulding can now go out on loan as was the intention before all this came up. Smith will be off soon as i believe we are trying to get another SH but everyone i know is tight lipped on who it is 2 names have been mentioned but cannot say who just yet but as soon as i know for definite will post on here.

Why was the Fielden/Morley swap deal picking up pace yesterday

in Gleese you've bought a player who in top form is a class above, and even on a quiet day is better than most centres around. i for one enjoyed watching him play for wire. simple way to look at it is, is he better than what you have at the moment? 100% yes!!
on wires part, it was widely known he was being allowed to go to the nrl for nowt a year early (end of this season) and tony smith seems to have seen something he didn't like at club level so to take reportedly £100,000 for him now seems like a good deal for us too.
richie mathers, poor richie mathers! TBH i think Mathers will do ok for you he knows Tony Smith and the way he likes a team to play and think he is more comfortable playing that way only time will tell but i do wish him good luck he has not had a good time since leaving Smith at Leeds hopefully he will return to form for you apart from when you play us that is
