Kieth Senior is 32 and still in top form so we should be able to get at least 3 and a half seasons out of him plus we have some good young coming through better than Goulding its well worth signing him plus he is a Wigan lad and i believe he wanted to come here when Saints sold him but Saints would not deal with us at that time.

Although the gleeson signing would be immense , cant help feel sorry for goulding who i feel has a lot of potential. This would be a good deal for warringtona s they are getting two players now rather than waiting till the end of the season and letting him come to us for nowt.

I believe everything is ready to go ahead, the only final hurdle is if Gleeson really wants to play in the NRL then he may just see out his contract at Warrington

Could be a good signing if it comes off. I just worry that he may be over the hill, he hasn't seemed like anything like as much of a threat since he joined Warrington, and his GB performances have also gone consistanly worse since 2004. Having said that he'll be a hell of a lot more use to us than Mathers and will do more in attack than Bailey. Are there no good props around? We need a prop way more than a centre, mind I said that prop should be priority before we signed Roberts too.

If so the rumors were started a little early like last Wednesday though April fool jokes only started at Midnight tonight and ran till lunch time tomorrow.

The transfer will break down due to Wigan not wanting to pay the requested transfer fee on top of the players.

And as the article says we need to offload the two players to get Gleeson under the salary cap. We were supposed to only have £20K left under it.

I can't imagine Goulding being on a fair wedge but I bet Phelps is.

I'm not sure that's the case. He said at the Fans Forum that they had offered cash for a player but the club wanted £70K and he thought it was too much so no deal was struck. I assumed that was for Richard Moore, in which case £70K is too much.

I get the impression he'll part with the cash but not at extortionate fees.

The major stumbling block is getting people off our cap if we have to pay cash.
