Its all speculation clearly but given the timing of the sacking it would suggest the 2 are in some way related despite all the denials that will follow, personally i think it is more to do with standards or a lack of them within the core of the players which must be dealt with, and the person who is mainly responsible for this has to be the coach, hence i think a few things came to a head and a few things have been highlighted by this situation and the coach has paid the price.....again pure speculation on my part i hasten to add!

I am taking the sacking of Noble to be a very positive step which rounds off a bad few days on a high for the club and a step in the right direction for the first time in a long time. We have hit the bottom and a swift reaction has been made which is exactly what was needed. Even without Hock I am more optomistic about the rest of this season and the future of the club than I was this time last week, that could all change when the new coach is announced of course, if it is anyone with a link to the Bradford club other than Smith then i will again be gutted!

I am very sceptical about Pongia being brought in as a conditioning coach, i would like him involved in some capacity but i feel we need the best in this department, Pongia I do not think as a specialist in this capacity is not right for the job. We must cast the net wider in my opinion, perhaps out of the sport to get the best available.

I've not a clue on that sort of job tbh. Mentioning Pongia is more of a romantic dream(not in that way) but as for the results he'd bring i haven't got the foggiest.

One thing is for sure we need somebody to whip some of these lads into shape especially feka.

Paul Stridgeon or Carl Jennings, although the kind of money Stridgeon is on as head of conditioining with the RFU would be difficult to compete with, I'd imagine.
