Pretty sure United stipulate that nothing more than a 4ft drop can be hung from the tier. Ours are all 5 or 6ft

Correct mate, Anything more than that and they start to block the view from the exec boxes, thats if you hang them off the second tier. There was a lot of trouble with all the anti-glazer flags last year when they were hanging them off the Stretford End.

Theres nowt to stop us putting them all over the railings around the bottom of the pitch though. They will all trail on the floor a bit but it should look ok I reckon.

Not exactly, but the problem is you have to leave the flags with the Ground staff before the game and it is them who Erect them!

So I guess if you leave them any that are over 4ft (1100mm to be precise!) they just won't put them up?
