I think that will end the discussion of whether to move from Friday Nights to Sunday Afternoons for league games.

There's something about the crackle of a Friday night game to get the juices going. Today was very flat (yes I know the score didn't help).

I think he says the crowd only got going in the second half which was true to be fair, after all wernt we 18 up after 15mins, Wakefield hardly made any impact in the first half.

He is also complimentary in saying we walloped them and strangled the life out of them, I can only recall a few pens for lying on (Coley twice when will he learn)

A little embarrassing and petty of Kear to make those comments, for a guy who seems so honest and likable on TV, he hasn't half made himself look like a twerp.

According to mr kear on todays atmosphere i must agree it was a bit flat after our win saints was expecting it to be bouncing having said that wakey bringing 600 fans max didnt help.

Night games are always miles better at our place.

Fwiw thought wigan completely outclassed us today and played really entertaining rugby. Unfortunately, it was over as a contest after 20 mins and although we were far from our best we got beat by a very classy side. Good luck for the rest of your season, and hope Amos makes a speedy recovery.

I'm so puzzled by teams complaining about three man tackles ruining the game. If you teach your players to offload there's a huge gap to be exploited.

With regards to Kear's comments about the quiet atmosphere I think there were a few reasons:

1. In my opinion you now get much better atmospheres at night matches in comparison to the traditional 3pm kick-off.
2. It was a case of after the Lord Mayors show after Friday, how on Earth was today ever going to match up to our win at KR.
3. The obvious bad injury to Amos must have been a downer for a majority of the crowd.
4. Most importantly, Wakefield never even made a game of it to get the crowd energised. So I'd suggest getting their own house in order before pointing the finger elsewhere.

I've lost all respect for John Kear after reading his post-match comments and what was apparently said to two substitutes.

For there to be a good atmosphere there needs to be a contest, arm wrestle or whatever you want to call it on the pitch. Unfortunatley Mr Kear your team were so it was like an exhibition game. How he can have a dig at us is unbelievable!

I fancy Sheffield giving us a similar contest in a fortnight Mister Kear. You were THAT bad.

I thought the atmosphere was ok today to be honest..i certainly enjoyed the game more than the Crusaders or Catalan games, which were more one sided and less of a fight than this game ( IMO )

The atmosphere was bad because of how poor his team was in the first half, it was like watching a training session at times and although it was good on the eye at times. A close fierce game always gets the crowd going, maybe he should look at his teams contribution to the atmosphere more than MM's.

I can't remember both the players coming off and both going on, one coming off was Korkidas, and one going on was Moore. Kear pulled them both over and said, you're on for the last 10 minutes, give them some f*cking sh*t!!!

I was right in front of this he said it to Shane Tronc as he was coming on. Probably trying to get something out of him before he buggers off home in a couple of weeks. A embarrasing thing to hear from him though thought Kear had abit more about him than that.

If watching Wigan is like watching paint dry Mr Kear why are Wigan the top point scorers in Super League? Why have Wigan scored over 140 points more than Wakefield. I wish we could play some entertaining rugby for a change. Can you imagine Joel scoring a try from his own 20m line? Can you imagine both your winger scoring hat tricks in the same game? Wake up Mr Kear and get your head out of the sand. Wakey are over-rated and offer very little to Super League. They have a dump of a ground, poor crowds, and a poor team filled with rejects and over the hill players. It shows the mentality of that club who want to go out to give some f**king s**t and try to injure a fellow pro. There is not one player in the Wakefield squad who I would have at Wigan. Well Mr Kear you keep entertaining the 5,000 Wakey fans and let us 13,000+ Wigan fans watch the paint dry.

Thats nothing to what SW said we had to do to Korkidas in the last 10 mins. and when Radders told him he had come off and was on the bench he told him to go and T*** him. I dont think SW likes Korky.

I honestly can't work out if Kear is saying it was like watching paint dry because his own team didn't make a contest of it or because Wigan controlled the ruck so efficiently. If it's the former, then fair enough. If it's the latter, he needs to get a grip. TBH I can't see it being the way it seems or is being taken by most after he was so honest in his assessment the last time his team was this bad. I remember him saying "we were lucky to get nil!"

I'd actually like him to clarify this. I've always had time for him and this sullies his reputation as it currently stands.
