I think that will force alot to do so, but also, the TV "debates" whilst carefully structured and managed, will have given people a different level of access to the leaders, and will, imo lead to more people voting & amazingly, potentially, the Lib Dems, finally emerging as a viable alternative. Clegg hammered the other 2 last night.

Gordon Brown especially got hammered imo, he has got no chance of getting back in imo. I was impressed by Clegg though, he was clearly up for it and he came across very well.

Gordon Brown was his usual morose, dour self. Clegg was mightily impressive and looked like the only one speaking from the heart rather than a script.

Why do we need a nuclear deterrent? It's hardly the 80's and the cold war anymore. Plus all the issues regarding national security are based around terrorist cells rather than rouge nations. Do you really think Bin Laden cares if we have nuclear weapons?
