There's no danger of Wigan being over-confident after last Friday, with or without the assistance of Wire fans who, already it seems, are reduced to finding crumbs of comfort in the misfortunes of others.

The best thing is though.. the mod didn't even post what I originally posted. I edited the thread title and post after the game finished.

Thats the bit I don't get to be fair. Warrington are having a great season and i'd have thought they'd be too busy discussing their own side then worrying about a few Wigan fans getting abit giddy.

I honestly couldn't care less what other teams fans are saying before, during or after games unless we're playing them that week. If they're showing confidence, over confidence or arrogance then so be it.

It proves they're the epitome of small time.

How sad bringing all that up! All the things i could bring back and post on the Wire board, theres loads, but tbh i just dont care as much about Warrington as they do about Wigan

Poor old Wire fans, eh?

They just don't get it. Yes, some Wigan fans are feeling pretty foolish having got a bit carried away.... but talk about glass houses and throwing stones.... supporters of the "Year of the Wolf" club are in a glass house of Crystal Palace proportions... dearie me. Year after year (pre-SL it was the same) Wire fans have been getting themselves in a lather about the prospects of their side, its been going on for so long now its passed into RL folkore.

The one set of fans who should be keeping their heads down and letting other clubs' fans have a justified dig at the expense of some over excitable Wigan fans are the Wire fans. But they can't help themselves, and draw attention yet again to their dismal record in the last 20 years or so against a backdrop of never ending predicitions of glory. Its very sad. But very amusing!

I'd be interested to know which Wire mod retrieved that from the trash can in breach of their Moderating code of contact. Feel free to PM the details

Durham Giant posted it on the Bradford board, as above. Some Wakefield mod backed him up though.
