I've always said that Edwards was a better all round scrum half than Greg.
He was faster, had a better kicking game, was better defensively and was much better disciplined.
Gregs hands were superb, but as I have said many times on here there's another side to the game, that's when the opposition have the ball
Loved the pair of them together but if I could only have one it would be Edwards

In fact I was saying to release him 2 years ago.

tbh i didnt think there was anything untoward in it.........just thought it was because long wasnt good enough to get into the wigan team (but in all honestly seriously!) |

I don't particularly like the bloke, but Long has been a great servant for Saints and one of the top scrum halves in the last 10 years.
I hope they give him and Cunningham two year contract extensions.
