I'd encourage younger players to go to Aus ... so long as there is something in the contract to bring them back to us in a couple of years.
I'm not part of this crowd who feel that sending all our best players to Aus permanently is the future of British RL.
As things are, the domestic game is just as important, if not more so, than the international game. Losing all our best players, to the NRL as well as RU, could be a death-knell for the decent sized crowds that the top clubs currently enjoy. |
