I Agree! Mine was relegated to the West stand for the Hudds game

Not a problem mate. I actually think they looked quite good when I finally clocked on to where they were. With a few more up there it will look even better. The main thing about the South is that the flags up there get on T.V. when were on whereas the ones in the West won't.

Are those ones Derry fans? Some mad ones who watch Irish football, especially are crowds are not too dissimilar to Championship RL.

Mix of Derry and Shelbourne I think. Your right. They only get crowds of 2000 or so and put on some crackin displays

Great display tonight. Hopefully when I ge to my next home game there will be some additions to the already impressive collection.
I may be biased but the the George Formby flag is a stand out for me

Personally, I believe the flags are responsible for our increased attendances this year!

I've found a supplier who'll do these for us at a very good price. 4 x 3m 'Tifo' style flags (12 x 9ft). I'm going to order 4 to start with, all different patterns. They'll compliment the Boston flag (15 x 8ft) nicely on the South Stand and at select away venues next year. Maybe the Widnes club will let us put on a big show at saints away? PM me if you want to chip in and we can get a few more ordered.

Do we have an expected delivery date for the Rads flag yet? A friend has been asking me.

Matty's ordered that Brian. Charlie at Barmy's has been on his hols & is due back this week so I doubt they've made a start on it yet. 2 to 3 weeks I reckon.

Hopefully everyone else will start taking their own flags as well!

Just two fans, in the middle but on each side of the South Stand to set them off as players comne out of the tunnel then that would be it. Would make it a bit Galatasaray 'Welcome to Hell' - esque???

Would any away grounds allow it? United fans do it at city and it happens all over europe.

Only thing is i'm not sure if they are actually legal in grounds, but as you say, fireworks are there. Like i said if it was controlled and at the very bottom and front of the stand, away from people, perhaps even in front of the hoardings, just two blokes holding them at arms length for 30 secs as the players walk out can't surely do any harm. All the smoke swirling around adds to the occasion to me.
