Getting back on track Cade will be missed but mitigated by TL’s return. We have an option of field to 6 and French to 1 if Tommy isn’t fit enough for 80 mins.
Great news on Farrell, he an ultimate pro so will hopefully make a quick recovery.

The good news on Faz might not be for us but hopefully for him and the World Cup. He’s been treated appallingly by Wayne Bennett and the national side in the past and has had no sort of international career, when he should’ve been a mainstay. Fingers crossed he’s still a chance of making that, even if our game/s are a no go.

Not really. He posted on here that he was boycotting the club for taking the knee until every player that did it had left, and that politics such as Armed Forces Day, Pride etc should be kept out of sport. |

As I said last night, Cust isn't as big a loss with the return of Tommy (although that could be dependant on Powell) but any return of Faz would be superb both for us and England.

Of course there is a racism and homophobic problem in this country as there are many other problems but they aren't a sport issue they are a social one. If somebody needs educating on the rights and wrongs of either crime then it needs to be done in a class room not in a sporting arena. As far as I am aware, the Keeling originated from the death of a villain in the US and ended up in our sport and as far as I am aware there isn't a pandemic of homophobia anywhere that has been reported, it's just being used as a tool like you see now on TV adverts. Agenda pushing has gone way too far, to the point where it appears the average working class white man doesn't appear to buy goods from companies any more. If the kneeling and rainbows etc are designed to be a preventative measure then why don't they just go the whole hog and have minutes laying down for speeding drivers, people not eating their greens and drug use. In my opinion the major cause of hate crimes is fuelled by lack of education, the empty headedness of young adults now is frightening. Drug taking is the root of all these evils in my view, it's illegal, it kills people and it fuels violence. I won't go too deep into it and won't say any more on the matter but those are my views and if people have differing opinions I think they should be respected for what they are.'"

It isn’t just about everyday racism.
It’s systematic racism within society that is the issue.
If everyone stops being racist and becomes good people will it automatically enable black and ethnic minorities in this country to get better education, more opportunities and to not live in poverty?
There’s a difference in the racist name calling and attitudes you here in pubs, on the streets etc versus systematic racism within society. |
