**edit** just read a bit more on it and it sounds like it could be an issue for Rushton but not for Gildart (if he is going over) as it seems to be they’ll limit arrivals in to the country for any players going in to reserve grades but not first team players.

According to The League Express last Monday there will be no dual registration next season. That means along with no reserve league even less opportunities for younger players. Players will have to go out on loan in one month blocks or permanent season long loans.

There was an even younger player due to go out to Aus this year but an injury and then Covid put a stop to it.

No, I mentioned him as having been kept out the side by a guy who started the season as 4th choice winger at the Roosters in Ikavalu. I did say that if you could get Hall for Peanuts I wouldn’t be against a 12 month deal and I stick by that. Tricky says he’s more like a prop nowadays and he’s absolutely correct in that he’s not as quick as once was but he has actually dropped some weight this season and whilst past his best, the bloke is still a real handful and is brilliant at getting you away from your own end.

Basically the point is that we ideally need a cheap winger to fill in whilst Marshall is out.

All the extra players cannot go out on loan as other clubs will be in the same situation of having a excess of players and the result will be the loss of many players to the game unless things do not return to normal as some of the smaller clubs will find it hard to continue financially.
