Sad to see him go but not surprised. There was talk he came close to leave a few years ago before he’d even made his mark in the first team.

I’m another who has never understood the criticism of Sutton. It’s such a tough position to play for a kid of 19/20 but he’s always cooed physically and after some downturns in form over the last few years, he’s currently flying and has always been reasonably consistent.

It would be nice to see an ex Wigan player really enhance his rep in the NRL and I cross my fingers for Sutton that he’ll be that man. He’s more talented then Mike Cooper was when he went and his spell there should be the blueprint for him to follow.

Perhaps the daily press and constant rumours were a distraction? I don’t know but what I do know is that the club gets criticised when it doesn’t announce things and is now being criticised for announcing this. Can’t win!!

Nice kid, great attitude and stacks of potential. Hope he does really well at Canberra and is happy in Australia.

Its not looking good, for all the investment from Koucash there is no solid base at the club, no fan numbers and a make do squad of RL cast offs

Cant win can they? play well they are after NRL contracts, or sign a new deal and get slated for not trying since they got their new deal

Ah, true, I get so used to players leaving mid-contract...

For next season we must be hoping for a reduction in interchanges because our pack is getting smaller and smaller. We really need someone with a physical presence otherwise we will get bullied.
