It'd take a while before Salford could have a thriving Academy - which should be their lifeblood.
SL isn't strong enough for Salford not to upset the apple cart. You just have to look at the transformation of Wigan under Maguire. He turned a v. average squad into Champions.
It only takes one talented coach who is allowed to imprint his (successful) vision on a team and they can change in a year or two.
Couple that with an owner willing to spend up to and above the salary cap and Salford could be in the playoffs next year no problem.
Not sure Harris is the man for that job though.
