| Joel always looks disinterested, he's like his brother averse to smiling
Lot been said on our board that Joel might be carrying a slight injury, he had pace to burn start of the season and it seems to have halfed.
Briscoe for me the form winger though, for someone who looks diminulative compared to most players he isn't half strong, cracking player

Ahh right that maybe explains it then.
Briscoe's a great player and someone I'd have to Wigan in a flash. But he don't have make some stupid errors at times. He really could do with cutting those out of his game if he wishes to progress to that next level. It's a shame to as everything else in his game is excellent, his footwork, speed and strength are unquestionable.

That's probably down to the fact you don't watch him every week. His attacking abilities are unquestioned, his kicking is fantastic, but his defence is something he does not get credit for. Him and George are the most solid centre/wing defensive partnership in the league imo. Players just don't kick a high bomb to Richard's wing because it's absolutely pointless. A great weapon to have and i'd have him as my #5 in a 'dream team' any day of the week.
also, he's ireland's finest

Pat hasn't hit the heights of last year granted mainly due to recovering from a serious injury, but is still the best winger in SL IMO. If Pat hasn't done anything to stand out what has Monaghan ?
Tries per game Pat 1.00 Joel 1.10
Asists per game Pat 0.25 Joel 0.15
Metres per carry Pat 8.58 Joel 7.74
Metres per game Pat 144 Joel 94
Tackle bust p/g Pat 1.25 Joel 1.33
Clean breaks p/g Pat 1.06 Joel 0.52
Errors per game Pat 1.37 Joel 1.47
This is whilst recovering from a serious injury. I only put King and Monaghan as my wingers as I think they'll be a split of the players, slightly more from Wigan but shared between Wigan, Wire and St.Helens due to the obvious inclusions from them, plus the odd player from the lesser teams. I wouldn't want any other winger from SL infront of Pat playing for Wigan.

Was just about to post on a similar line.... If Pattttt is playing badly, compared to last year, and is still on a par with Monaghanahan. Hardly makes Monaghanaha a candidate for a dream team...
Other than a reluctance to really put the foot down i think Patttt has been excellant. Top guy.

yes we know, but you said somebody was better than Pat on a Wigan forum so you must be hung/stabbed with rusty knife.

In Wigan, brothers and sisters usually have the same last name, hence why we call them by their first name.

S.Tomkins is okay to use as is J.Tomkins. Doesn't matter really anyway. Only a bit of fun.

...and are also dating?
Tough to put one of these teams together, they're always tainted by the fact that the people picking them have seen a lot of one team. That said - I think Richards is likely to miss out purely by association with last season when he was sublime - he's not hit those heights.
