To be fair most of us Saints fans did not see it or call for it. But that is very similar to when Moore got a 1 match ban for a similar naff tackle on Sinfield earlier at Leeds this year.

No one saw, it no one complained. But a could of days later he was up before the beak and got a 1 match ban too.

It's all in the interpretation of the rules, in years gone by you got a letter about tackling techniques. Today it's a one match ban.

Tommy Martyn would have had stacks of letters and 1 match bans back in the day as I think the cumberland throw is also now included in the list of banned tackling techniques. Not a bad thing, it's just the way it is nowa days.

Its a conspiracy against teams west of the pennines, Perry for us the other week, Tuson for you this week, probably a wire player next week.

We're still trying to work out why Moore was banned for one match after an innocuous tackle on Sinfield when we played Leeds at Headingley. No idea why Tuson was banned. But clearly in RFL World, whatever he did was naughty.

Just watched the tackle and can't believe what I have just heard about Tuson being banned. The RFL disciplinary are either corrupt or don't have a clue. Disgraceful decision.

Looks like the perfect opportunity for hock. Its no wonder Chris is gutted as he held the jersey and possession is nine tenths of the law.

This now presents an opportunity for hock to take his spot instead of biding his time until someone had a poor game

He probably wouldn't have to bide his time. Next time a wigan player farts in a tackle he will get his chance once the disciplinary have had their say.

I've watched the game twice and still haven't 'spotted' this tackle.

Putting to one side that no one seems to know what hes done even Wilkin, and we all know he would have been the first to moan!

Your excellent disciplinary record only counts if you're Jamie Peacock or Radford who's was sent off and banned last season (which they seemed to forget about this season)

The whole RFL disciplinary system seemingly stinks. How come a young player like Tuson gets banned for such an innocuous tackle, that more importantly didn't injure any player? Tuson is not a dirty player - in fact he hardly ever gets penalised.

The inconsistency of the committee when it comes to quoting previous excellent disciplinary record is laughable - Peacock, Senior and Radford seem to get away with dangerous/reckless challenges or even punches. By definition, Tuson must have had a previous excellent disciplinary record as it was the first time he had been cited.

Wigan have had far more players banned this season than any of our rivals - ( trolls, please don't say it's because we are the dirtiest team!). Lima twice, Joel, Sam and now Tuson - yet noone was in any way injured by their tackles/challenges. Contrast Carvell's late and high challenge on Dureau which resulted in him being hospitalised that went unpunished.

the charnley tackle wasn't the only high one from wilkin-quite a few in the game from him--but hey "he's playing at the top of his game" according to stevo!!!!!!!!!

Hmm I havent re-watched the game yet but i tend to agree, based on the opinions of the other posters, that this may have actually been a ploy by the RFL to make us have to play Hock. However unlikely and stupid that may sound.

I hate these ones where no penalty was given at the time, and its not like it was off the ball so the ref should have seen anything untoward. Clearly only been flagged up because it was a sky game and the disciplinary can watch everything from several angles and in slow motion. Wouldnt have been anything in a million years if it wasnt on tv.

Sky want viewers. The RFL want ticket sales. Sky + RFL Want Hock.

Also brings the whole, 'on report' rule into question again. Its pointess, a waste of time and just an escape goat for referees not having the bottle to sin bin or send off.
