Agreed. He played a massive part in us avoiding relegation. The job he did for us in the circumstances he did it in make him a club legend already IMO.

I like Finch and think he is capable of doing a good job for us, but for me the creativity, flair and mobility of Sam at 6 and the kicking game and all round quality and reliabilty of Dobson at 7 would be a superb combination.

Yep. Wigan wanted to keep him, but Canberra wanted him back, as were the terms of the loan deal. In fact, Uncle Mo pulled a blinder in getting Dobson here in the first place. I think it was Castleford who couldn't get him a visa (something like that) and we did.

I would take Dobson back but we just don't need him, give Finch some time. A Sam and Dobson partnership would be quality with Tommy at 9 but we currently have Deacon and Finch along with Mellor coming through.

Deacon is gonna retire at the end of the year and if Dobbo is available it's an opp we just can't miss.

He's a perfect fit for Wigan at this moment in time.

Dobbo and Finch in at 7 & 6, Tommy at 9 and Deacs/Mcilorum on the bench.

It's mouth watering.
