The lad I believe attends a lot of Wigan's matches wearing his Wire shirt (his GF is a Wigan fan). I know he was at Catalans Away two years running and has a good crack with the Wigan fans and isn't a trouble maker of any kind.

Ste (8inarow) will back me up here as he was in France with him.

my friend said he was at Catalans. to be fair to him, he took the w@nky warrington and chants pretty well. hes got some guts though imagine if someone wore a Wigan shirt at a Wire game!

I think you are missing the point here. It shows that we ( Wigan fans) can tolerate oppositon fans. If a Wigan fan did the same at the HJ he would probably get strung up.

well yeah to be fair it doesnt really take much guts. but thats also what i mean - if someone wore a Wigan shirt at a Wire game they'd get abused, verbally and physically (we know what their fans are like!) we just have have some fun whereas they'd turn it into a massive showdown!

Absolutely wrong.

He's a friend of a friend and does indeed attend quite a lot of our matches (always in his Wire top).

He has travelled to Catalans with our supporters.

Some of our lot were also sat with him and his "millions" of friends at both last year's and this year's CC Final.

Just because he turns up to watch Wigan in a Wire kit does NOT make him a "trouble-causer".

You know who this guy is and rightly so he is proud of his team, to us level headed people we can engage in banter and so can he by the sounds of it. HOWEVER just like every team we have our idiots who are trouble causer and will treat his dire shirt like a red rag to a bull

sad to see feka go, he always brought that excitement to a game and often lifted us when he came with a barnstorming run. Id rather not remember his faults today and concentrate on the good things he brought to us. no player is perfect (except super paat) and cant help think he'll cause us problems in the future. be nice next season when we play salford at home for a feka chant to break out from us. I know we have a superb replacement in lima but i cant help but feel a little sad that hes leaving, hes often been the bright light in the dismal few years we've had recently.

Big shout to the pig as well. superb player this season. God i MM has a hooker lined up next year or we might just see what a big miss he is going to be!!!!

i think very few layers will remembered with the affection that Wigan fans hold for Feka, which is credit to him especially when you consider the fact that he has not been with us in relative terms for a very long time and most of that time was spent in some pretty desperate times.

In those desperate times thought he played with a smile on his face, and gave us the fans some some rare moments to get excited about.

I wish him all the best at Salford. I think in a less high profile team, but one that is on the up it seems he will prove to be a very useful weapon for them.

I was made up with the reaction he recieved because he deserved it. He has become a luxury player we don't need anymore but he has really lifted the fans spirits at times in the past 5 years when things felt pretty dark at points. We looked like a team lacking spirit, energy and excitment for a period of his time here but he always brought that to the side and lifted the fans and the players around him.

He was for a spell one of the best impact bench players in the world but that role seems to be getting phased out of the game especially in the top teams and he just doesn't stand out anymore. He used to come on and lift a flagging side that looked like it couldn't be ar*ed half of the time and that lack of effort from some always made Feka stand out but it's become difficult to make an impact in a side that now plays at full throttle at all times.

Overall sad to see him go but the timing is right.

I think Feka was a bit shy and wasnt planning on saying a few words.. but it was great to see the fans shouting his name for him to talk along with Bailey and Piggy.

Never seen us do anything like that before and speak to the players after the match on the pitch have we? or is my memory that bad? But it was a nice touch.

Feka has often been the only bright spark in our team a couple of years ago and Ill forever be grateful for what he brought to our pack, yes of course he has dropped of the radar in the last year or so but one thing you cant deny him is his passion for Wigan RL.

Crash Bang Wallop and the last ever Wigan try at KR will do me quite fine.
