If Hull fans are so fickle , why have attendances risen at the KC over the previous 2 seasons that have been their worst in the SL era?

exactly. why should we care if they leave early? leave 'em to it. fans leave early even when their team are winning.

Don't worry about it. There is big respect for Hull FC in the Wigan area. But, in response to the myths propogated by co**suckers like Dearden, Hunt (Leyth f**khead) and Warrington Wiggy, we always like to point out that other fans leave early when they're getting hammered too.

That doesn't make sense though does it? They're fickle because they are leaving well before the end. They're arriving well on time

I left 10 mins before the end.Don`t normally do,but it felt a bit like watching your pet dog being ripped by a pack of wolves.

All teams have supporters who leave early.
Between 10 & 20 % of fans leave a ground early at all games.
20% of a Wigan or a Hull crowd looks more dramatic than 20% of smaller teams crowds, like St Helens or Warrington.
Must admit though it was more like 50% at Hull last night and getting off the big car park at the side of the ground has never been easier.

Had a txt off the daughter saying can we go...that was 5 mins from the end...was tempted to go earlier...why should we put the effort in supporting t them when they cant.

It's a ten hour round trip for us to get to a game, so we don't see the point in leaving early. When you're winning or losing by 30 points it's a little more understandable, but as has been said, all clubs have an element that will leave early, it's not geographic!

I thought the crowd last night would have been higher than what it was a little over 12600

It was a little disappointing but times are hard and the 'walk up' would have been affected by Sky and the fact we had a home game last week. I guess a lot of people are heading off on holiday this weekend too.

Our average attendance should be up again this season though as were our season ticket sales.

a few went at half time when we were 28-6 down against Bradford in the playoffs... Of course, nobody would admit to it now. You know who you are!

I kind of agree with him, and I don't want to turn thid thread into a I've paid my money, I have to get to work, the team weren't trying, I'm a better fan than you sort of thread but the guy does have a point. ALL teams have fans who leave early and Wigan more noticably so.
Having said all that, that response was quality and somewhat mystifying.

Does it really matter if some fans leave early? At least they turned up unlike at some clubs where they cant even get them to do that!

I'm with you on this one. Leave when you want - who cares?. I always left early when my kids were little to avoid the crush. I stay to the bitter end now, but I would never criticise anybody for leaving early.

Can I just say - search "St Helens Walk" in a certain file sharing website tubey thingy and see a 52nd minute mass exit.

spot on does it matter wether some fans leave early or not all teams have fans that do it in all sports get over it, you see it all the time when premier league fans leave early ect it just happens. anyway other fans should concentrate on trying to get people through the gates never mind complaining about other teams fans going out of the gates like rovers dont they need 10k week in week out just to brake even

The differance is that Hull were getting hammered were as Wigan could have won. Yet the Pies were streaming out of the ground.
