thought the red card was the correct decision. there wasnt an intent but the contact was with the head and fakir is one tough guy and not the type just to leave the field. not sure about coleys disciplinary past but for me the red card is sufficient, at worst a one match ban but if he has a history it could be 2 which would mean he would miss the wire game.

Coley was banned for a "dangerous throw". Not sure it'll matter on this one. It'll be no more than 1 game. If he gets two it'll be reduced to one game on appeal - thats how it works.

Coleys shot was no worse than Peacocks double head hit against Sam in the
CC quarter final. It was no worse than KFC shot 2 the back of Tommy's head two weeks ago.

I've always been of the opinion that any attack to the head, whether it is instinctive, or reactive, whether he "hit the chest but his arm rode up", whether the attacking player 'ducked' into the tackle or not - should result in a straight red.

Some players may be thick, their coaches are not. After a few weeks of playing with one or more men short, tackling techniques would change for the better of the game.

In what way could he possibly be deemed "bent"? The game was won, and finished that way. Coley hit him with as bad a high shot as has been seen this season. He left Child with no choice. Straight red. Stupidity from Coley, which should see him banned for a couple of weeks.
