think that is a fair point. i dont think there would have been as much negativity towards the match tonight though had it not been played on the same night as the football.a poor effort from the rfl imo.

I used to think like that until i visited America.

Why is it sad? Can't someone enjoy both sports? I'm a season ticket holder at Ewood Park and the DW Stadium - I enjoy both sports and don't feel the need to compare the two.

Oh and one is a friendly and the other is a group game in the World Cup. It's no contest.

At different times. England rugby union played today aswell, but not many people have been up in arms about that.
I know quite a few who are at the game and will be going into the pub straight after to watch the football. Watching and supporting both teams. It can be done.

Enjoyed the game but would have liked us to have nilled them.
Think that could be it for the France game. Of little benefit to either nation and to be honest I'd leave internationals till after the Grand Final.

The same could be said about our matches against Australia. We get humiliated; Australia are not challenged. Why should we bother at all, in fact?
