What ever happened to those blokes in bowler hats and dressed in black, with large placards saying stuff like "The end is nigh !" and who used to berate us for watching Sunday rugby at Central Park ?

It was the same era as 'Winston the Warrior', last couple of seasons at Central Park.

We never lost when Kelvin was the mascot, it was no conincedence he made a comeback and saved us from relegation and then disappeared back to Borneo. (Bit strange living in a dog biscuit I know)

I remember one surreal half time at Central Park. A mascot race was organised. Ronnie the Rhino, Winston the Warrior and the Edwards Pie Man lined up for a race. Ronnie was rapid in tose days and creamed the opposition. Winston was a fair distance behind and miles behind was a sluggish giant pie on legs that couln't even run straight ambling all over the pitch.

Must have been a steak an ale pie!
