5 of us going down with Mayfair

What time are the day coaches setting out on saturday, or what time are people setting out who are driving down?

Mayfair leave at 10am.

We're driving down leaving around 9 a.m.
Hoping to get to the hotel around 13:30 - 1 p.m.

Me i am going by train but on Friday Afternoon From Wigan you would go to Crewe on a Virgin then to Bridgend on an Arriva trains Wales latest train you could get on Saturday is the 13.28 from Wigan but you would not be able to get back on the Saturday cost is £68.20 return

But if you had booked in advance like i did you could have done it £12 return

Shaun wanted leave billinge at 9am but might be abit too early for me because i have a full head of hair to sort out unlike shaun

For all those Wigan fans making the trip to Celtic this weekend, there is an International game taking place before the main event at the Brewery Field with a kick off at 230pm.

I along with the other 4 Wigan Riversiders RLC players will hopefully be in the final 17 and hope to see plenty of Wigan shirts there to cheer on the Lionhearts!!

This years tournament kicks off with the Lionhearts playing Wales as the curtain raiser for the Celtic Crusaders v Wigan match at the Brewery Field on 13th June kick off 2:30PM.

after deciding late to go down iv just foned 12 hotels up and there all full, looks like theres a few wigganers going down, or is there sumthin else goin on that day

They sure are, friday and sat nights, hotels in cardiff, newport, bridgend and bristol all booked up.

We booked our hotel in December last year and took the last rooms.

Just make sure your room is actually booked as they cancelled a few Leyth rooms last year.

Advice for you in the Wetherlodge as well; last orders is ridiculously late in Spoons, but get a load of bottles in at last orders and they let you go upstairs to the residential reception to drink while they shut the pub.

Great prices on beer throughout ground.

Staying in Cardiff Friday and Saturday. Oasis and Kasabian on Friday night, Wigan on Saturday!! Should be a quality weekend!!
