I don't think my first posted summed up how stupid this thread is he is one of our best players for God sake do you actually watch Wigan Warriors or do you just read what jealous Saints fans write about him?

Yes for that reason alone. The RL we play is boring enough as it is.

He is an impact player but I don't think he is used quite right when on the pitch. For example at the end of the 1st half v HKR we had something like 3 sets of six on their line when he was on and he was used as a decoy all the time. That close to the line at least one pass to him as 1st receiver would have been worth a shout.

Maybe my expectations of him are too low but but despite fitness issues I tend to look to other players to improve more than him.

i go to be entertained, when feka's on the pitch he certainly does that.

Interestingly most people only talk about his go forward.

The Quins coaches, I only know that cause they mentioned it at a forum prior to a Wigan game, plan to attack him as he is very weak in defence particually around the ruck.

Im assuming other coaches have similar thoughts

He has the ability to create as many try-scoring opportunities as our halfbacks and the yards he makes particularily in our own half our crucial.

So for that reason, I think I'm going to say yes.

On the subject of Feka, if we had 3 other props all going at full tilt, he would look alot more impressive.

The problem is at the moment he is playing a game at times that isn't his natural game. He is playing more like an out an out prop, which to me isn't what he excels at.

Funny this thread comes up this year - from what I've seen he's having his best season?

Mmmmmm i wouldn't say so.

It was on it's way to being probably up to the Saints game on Maunday Thursday but since then he's been very quiet and looks sluggish.

I've said this before but he could be a better player if he just lost a stone. I think people think that would lead to him losing some of his power but i'm not sure it would. He was as strong as he'd ever been at the end of last year and he was lighter then then he is now.

He's a fantastic assest to have in your side and other teams would use him better then we do but he's got to get fitter imo.

I don't think there's any doubt about that whatsoever, he definitely has a stone of fat on him and losing it wouldn't make him any less powerful.

Interesting that he is 3st heavier than when we signed him from the NZ Warriors. He is the first to admit he has struggling with his weight and the off the field issues last season didnt help him.

But, i also agree with a previous post in thinking that Feka is not always used as effectivley as he could be.

Hes a luxury.

Right at this moment in time we need 4 workhorse props who are willing to graft for the team not an entertainer. If we were a better team he would be worth keeping but we are not so I would rather we signed somebody who is going to play his minutes worth and not shirk in defence.

Feka is one of those rare players that the crowd gets to it's feet whenever he gets the ball.

if nobby stays as coach, we may as well let feka go, but if we change coach keep him.

hopefully a change of coach will mean he gets used properly, he needs to hit the ball at speed, not standing still, and why do we not use him more on the opponents line

Feka isnt the same player. Hes so lazy its unbelievable. Get ris and get another work horse like Coley.

When? He does the odd good run once every handful of games. Not good enough.

Feka may aswell have stopped at home tonight and us played Ben Davies.

He made no impact whatsoever and was lazt as sin in defence.

I like the guy but i've been saying this for months, he must lose weight. He's wobbling about the place at the moment and it's simply not good enough for a pro sports man to be like that.
