Is that a confidence issue?

| The loss to Hull KR was quite symbolic about a number of our poorer performances this season.
We had a 15 minute spell in the 2nd half when we should have scored 20 points. If it had been a boxing match it would have been stopped.
However, we failed to execute our sets and take our scoring opportunities. At times, the panic was evident: 3 scoots in one set with a 2 man overlap on our left; 4 drives at the markers in their 20 and when we do go wide (to the right) our back line has gone so deep we lose 20 metres.
COMPOSURE!!!

Correct. There is no one on the field to take us by the scruff of the neck and point us in the right direction ...... a la Faz. ![Mad icon_mad.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_mad.gif)

It's a patience issue imo.
Take last week for example we were on top against Hull Kr (even with the poor ref decision) and were leading 12-6 with 35minutes left. The team had played patient all night up until that point but when they conceded a couple of quick trys the whole pattern of our play turned around. We went from playing out our sets and getting a good kick in to throwing the ball around even though we still had 20-25 mins left to find the points we needed. It wasn't any sort of night for panic rugby and we probably only completed about 2 sets in the last 20 minutes.

I’ve seen throughout the forum on different topics, that fans expect better from the players, but I think the stats I’ll show, show we are actually performing very well, I believe the problem is the killer/final ball to provide the try.

I think the stats show for themselves we are performing well, a lot jump on the 'Noble Out' bandwagon due to our position in the league standings. But say we’d of won the games we only just lost like the:
Wakefield 12-6
Hull FC 18-10
Castleford 28-22
St Helens 19-12
Hull KR 20-12
All games that we could and probably should of won, say we’d of won them and won the one’s we have so far, were would we have been? 1st
Noble is doing a great job with the club, but consistency is our killer. We don’t have it at all, but once we do, we’ll by far be a top end fighting team with the current squad list and the bringing in of a new W/C prop and half-back can only make us far stronger.
People are also jumping on the Aussies back already, as mentioned by many, remember Pat’s shocking first season
Riddell, Roberts they need time, and I’m sure we’ll see their qualities soon enough.
The youngsters debate we really don’t know the ins and out’s do we, we can only speculate, are Sam Tomkins and Shaun Ainscough not playing because if they play a number of games their wage is increased they receive a bonus, is it because IL wants to see the Aussies he’s paid ££ for in the squad. We really don’t know, but Wigan as one hell of a future with not just them two but with Mossop, Davies, Thornley, Flanagan.'"
