Particularly a 19 year old reserve player (cas lad) who's probably pinned all his hopes on making it in RL but after a drink fueled attack his career, and perhaps his future, is in tatters. Cant believe im going to type this but,

I actually have some sympathy with price as i wouldnt have let one of my mates go to their ex's house on his own after a few beers. I wouldnt have let him go at all to be honest but i would have gone with him to make sure what happened didnt if you get my meaning. However the sympathy ends when they kicked the door in as i would have dragged the mate away as soon as he made the move to do that.

However saints have gotten it right here, and they shouldnt be called for their actions as we stood by John Clarke during his problems. Which were far worse in my eyes.

Difficult but Saints probably did the right thing. If they had sacked Pryce, he would have been snapped up by another club within 24 hours so Pryce would not be the loser, only Saints and why should Saints be punished.

not having a go at saints because every team would have done the same. but this is not leons first time, glassing someone, forcing entry at a domestic incident and assaulting someone. it doesn't matter about the seriousness of the assault, domestic violence on any level is unforgivable. if it had been an academy player he would be gone, but theres not a super league club around that would sack there star players. redhall need to make a stance on this, a rule straight across the board. The NRL have the right approach on this sort of thing and they need to take note. we claim to be a family sport where players are role models for thousands of kids yet by not taking positive action we are in effect condoning disgraceful off field antics. these players need to realise they are in a privileged position and should act as such both on and off the field.

Pryce wouldn't need to give tomkins tips on international rugby because tomkins will never play at that level unless he has got welsh grandparents.

Scuse me, but you're wrong on almost every score there. First of all, his first offence is irrelevant to the Saints because he was not employed by them at the time (and note, the other bloke's hands were around Pryce's throat at the time - should he have just submitted to strangulation? That's not to condone glassing someone, but just to offer you something to bear in mind).

Secondly, Leon did NOT force entry into anyone's house. Reardon tricked his wife into opening the door (of her boyfriend's flat) and he - Reardon - then pushed his way in, forcing the door.

Thirdly, Pryce was accompanying Reardon and it was Reardon's domestic incident, not Pryce's. Therefore, Pryce was NOT guilty (or charged with) a domestic violence offence. Reardon has no previous domestic violence record either. In fact, he has no record at all, which presumably is why he didn't go to jail either.

You need to get your facts straight before getting in the pulipit to preach.
